Hello world!

These pages present the algorithms I was developing between 1998 and 2009, while working at BUT (Czechia), ftw (Austria) and SPSC (Austria). Some of these algorithms form the state-of-the art in Speech and Audio Signal Processing now. The algorithms and related technical fields are:

1. Speech signal quality enhancement:
Time-frequency binary masking, a novel noise suppression approach (1998-2003).

2. Hi-resolution auditory models:
Harmonic Chirp Transform, high-resolution time-frequency analysis (2003-2005).

3. Precise pitch estimation:
Spectral re-indexing, a high-resolution model for auditory perceptual integration (2003-2005).

4. Speaker localization and indexing:
PoPi decomposition, a new signal representation in the 3D Time-Frequency-DoA Space. This decomposition  emulates the central binaural processor (2005-2009).

Posts will be refined over time, and links will be added leading to related activities of other teams and related open-source SW, toolboxes.
